Global Sisters

The Snow Foundation was the founding funder of Global Sisters in 2012 and continues to support its growth. Global Sisters exists to enable women to make a living by running their own businesses. They offer education, training, mentoring, credit loans, marketing and the opportunity to sell their products or services online. Global Sisters now has a growing community of over 5,500 women, since their official launch in 2015. In 2022, Global Sisters showed evidence that Sisters are progressing towards long-term security by generating their own income (72%) and exiting welfare (43%). In 2022 they received a $3M grant from the Prime Minister and Cabinet's Office for Women.
